The Lodge Rincón del Socorro was built out of a farm originally constructed in 1896, which was personally restored and expanded by Douglas Tompkins. The buildings keep the classic European style, with big galleries that make the houses cooler during summertime. A fireplace located on the main room will keep you warm on cold days and during hot days you will be able to enjoy the swimming pool while you hear budgerigars singing.
Next to the guests' buildings you will find the personnel’s houses and a little school where the personnel’s children are educated.
